CMT profile knives for use on CMT and other standard European style spindle moulder blocks that accept 40mm knives. Designed to be used on blocks with or without limiters, and made from quality alloyed steel with a thickness of 4mm.
Spindle moulders are generally used in manufacturing where the amount of work being asked of the machine far exceeds what a handheld router is capable of. The diameter of the head, usually around 100mm spins considerably slower than that of a router, though due to the larger diameter, the outside speed of the head is similar to that of the hand held router.
For production work, cutters can be selected depending on the requirements, whether this is straight cutting, joinery or profile cutting. Multiple profile cutters can be positioned in height to suit the individual cutter and job at hand.
